6) UNH Overnight Camp (I have heard excellent reviews
of this one!) –
2009 GIRL'S LACROSSE
Girls ages 10-18 Eligibilty
The UNH Lacrosse Camp offers a fun, yet competitive,
environment. We provide an ideal setting with beautiful modern facilities
for campers to develop and hone their skills while being challenged.
Individual player development is the focus of the morning technical stations,
while afternoon sessions stress the concepts of team offense and defense
simulated in small-sided games. The evening sessions are an opportunity
to put it all together in full-field competition. It is our goal for each
individual to come away from camp with a greater knowledge of the sport of
lacrosse and an improved skill level. All you have to do is put forth the
effort and have fun.

To all current and former PAL lacrosse players and parents,
Last year Mary Squire, the womens' head coach for So. NH University started a program to give area kids an opportunity to play in summer lacrsse tournaments locally called Average Jane Lacrosse. This year, the program enters it's second year, and I would like to pass along their information for our parents and players. If any players are interested in playing lacrosse in high school or beyone, I would highly recommend that they enroll to play in summer tournaments. The tournaments are the only place to get the opportunity to play against the best competition from around the country. Average Jane is a particularly good choice for parents and players that do not want to have the expense or travel commitment of playing on elite club teams. It is a very reasonable program that will give your kids some very valuable coaching and playing experince.
Gary Sanchez - MPAL Lacrosse Girls' Director

Hello Everyone!
I hope that everyone's seasons
have been going well! It is summer lacrosse time once again! In order to keep
costs down, we are handling the tournaments a little differently this year. As
of now there is one tournament on our calender. It is
the Xtreme Lax tournament in Groton Mass on July 5th.
If your daughter wants to play in this tournament we need a definite count by
Saturday June 30 . Once we recieve
a tally of who is playing, we can determine the cost. The tournament is open to
both middle school and high school.
Please feel free to invite any
other laxers to join the Average Janes.
Our goal is for the girls to have fun playing lacrosse and learn a few things
along the way!
When any other local tournaments
or playdates open, we will notify everyone! If there
are an questions or concerns please feel free to email
us!
Thanks!
Julie
